Australia bans traditional light bulbs

Today, Australia announced that it was phasing out the use of traditional light bulbs in favour of energy efficient fluorescent ones. Traditional incandescent light bulbs will be banned Down Under by 2010. Bravo! Hopefully, Australia will be the first of many developed nations to start enforcing such policies.
